Teach Guitar and Earn Money!
Do you want to teach guitar and earn money? You’ve come to the right place.
Teach Guitar: Can you do it?
If you have been playing for a few years, have an open personality and can communicate clearly then yes, absolutely. The vast majority of guitar students are beginners on acoustic guitar which means that even if you are not an advanced player you can still teach guitar to a full roster of students. It will be up to you to decide your own timetable and how many hours a week you'd like to allocate to teach guitar. One of the great advantages is that you don't have to study or invest anything... you're simply using a skill you already posess to earn extra money.
Teach Guitar: How can I succeed as a guitar teacher?
This can be the tricky part as a lot of people who teach guitar struggle to fill their timetables with students. There are 2 key things which you must get right if you want to teach guitar and succeed. One - you need to know what really works in advertising and how to generate students.... for example, posters ARE NOT the best way to go!!!! Two - you need to know how to keep students long term once you have them. Knowing how to keep the students you've got will make your weekly teaching schedule very secure and static with the same students coming at the same times times week after week, month after month, year after year.

Teach Guitar: How much do guitar teachers earn?
This depends on numerous factors including how serious you are to teach guitar, what your competition (if any) is charging, how many students you generate, how good you are at keeping them, how much time you allocate to teach guitar, whether you teach guitar in small groups or 1-1 ECT. In general however you should be able to charge excellent hourly rates for your lessons and develop a great supplemental income or a full time income depending on your own preferences.
